CHONDROITIN SULFATE
Sometimes called glycosaminoglycans or mucopolysaccharides interact with the building blocks of connective tissue to help support structural integrity of joints and connective tissue.

HYLAURONIC ACID
HA is responsible for the viscosity and elasticity of synovial fluid, and is thought to increase lubrication of soft tissue in the joint.

HYDROLYSED COLLAGEN:THE CARTILAGE PROTECTOR
Hydrolysed collagen is a protein that accounts for about a third of the total protein in the body. It is the major structural constituent in articular cartilage. Contains a high proportion of the amino acids hydroxyproline, hydroxylysine, arginine, and L-glycine, which are the principle amino acids for synthesis of collagen and proteoglycans in cartilage tissue. It provides structural form and strength within the cartilage matrix and promotes a smooth flexible surface on which the joint moves. Flex CS/PLUS uses only the highest quality Type II Hydrolyzed Collagen.

ANTIOXIDANTS: THE CELL PROTECTORS
While oxygen is essential to life, it can also be harmful. Through normal body processes and external sources, such as the air breathed, the horse is exposed to highly reactive, oxygen containing chemicals called “free radicals”. Free radicals can damage equine cells and tissues, and directly attack and degrade cartilage components.

Flex – CS/PLUS contains antioxidant vitamins C and E, Beta-Carotene, and calcium ascorbate (as Ester–C) all of which supports antioxidant function. Most hays and grains lose most of the antioxidants when harvested and processed.
